Anger (Krodh)

Whenever you feel angry on anybody, just imagine these strings attached to that person. Infact, whatever we do, or whatever somebody does is governed by Waheguru himself. To this, many people ask "If God is behind everything we do, then why are some people so kind and some so evil" To which learned people generally say "Would white have any importance, if there was no black? Would happiness have any importance, if there is no sorrow? Similarly, would kind men have any importance, if there were no evil ones"

Everything that we see or everything that happens with us, has a purpose, best known to Waheguru. Sometimes we think "Mere naal eh kyu hoya?" It could be the punishment for a previous mistake, so that we don't repeat it! Or may be, it could open new unthinkable avenues for us. Or more importantly, Waheguru is making us go through tough times, so that we turn out to be tougher to face the future. Guru Maharaj has made the task so simple for us, by teaching us : "Akaal Purakh Da Bhana Mitha kar ke Jaano"

- Bhagat Prahlad Jee saw the hand of God behind Harnakash's acts, so he was unperturbed with what he went through.

- Bhagat Kabeer Jee saw Waheguru from within Sultan Sikander Lodhi (who made many attempts to kill Bhagat Jee) so he faced fate with happiness.

"Bhagatan Ki Sada Tu Rakhda Aaya, Dhur Toh Rakhda Aaya. Prahlad Jan Tudh Rakh Laye Har Jiyo, Harnakash Mar Pachaya"

- Guru Arjun Dev ji knew that whatever Jahangir's men were doing, they were being governed by the Almighty, so he didn't feel angry on these men.

- Whatever Aurangzeb did to Guru Gobind Singh Jee's family, was enough for any common man to reach the height of anger. But Guru Gobind Singh Jee still showed so much Nirvearta, he did not include even one word of abuse or anger in the Zafarnama to Aurangzeb.

Thus, Gurbani has described the inner self of such Mahapurakhs : "Bhagatan Ki Chaal Nirali, Chala Nirali Bhagatan keri, Bhikam Maarag Chalna"

REMEMBER, Uncontrollable Anger is a coward's way to show his/her Disapproval over the Akal Purakh's Acts.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
